It can be a way to build community and a sense of belonging for students who may not participate in traditional sports, and it helps them connect their academic interests to real-world skills and future opportunities.

"Short side soccer" refers to small-sided games played with fewer players on a smaller field, often in a format like 3v3 or 5v5. 3-on-3 basketball is a version of basketball played on a half-court with three players per team and one basket. It is a fast-paced game with rules that can vary, but officially governed by bodies like FIBA, it features a 12-second shot clock, a 10-minute game clock, or a "first to 21" scoring format. Points are awarded based on whether shots are taken inside or outside the arc, and after a score, the ball is checked and passed to resume play.

as we educate our individuals on a particular sport, we then progressively take them through the levels of that sport. An example would be flag football. We would travel to a local high school game to see it played at the high school level. The next phase would be a junior college football outing, the next level would be a division one football outing. The final level would be a NFL game outing.
This shows all the levels of the progressions from beginning to ultimate goal of the program.
